Rocky Mount Practices Off to a Great Start
02/24/2010 18:07Rocky Mount head coach Barry Nethercutt had 10 kids out for the first week of practice at Sunset Park. The group includes two seniors, two juniors, and the rest are sophomores and freshmen. "The guys have worked well and not complained about the wind or cold so it's been a good first week of practice," said Nethercutt. The Gryphons spent the first week doing a lot of movement drills, consistency drills, and working on doubles positioning to get the freshman and sophomores used to being aggressive in doubles. Week two will be used for challenge matches and lots of doubles work.
