Tennis Tidbits August 2018

*Ethan Saber of Raleigh Enloe High School was named to the 2018 Raleigh News and Observer All-Metro Men's Tennis Team.
 

*Wilson Fike High School head coach Lee Matthews will serve as one of the voters for the NCHSTA 3-A women's tennis poll this fall.
 

*Green High School head coach Pam Gilbert will serve as one of the voters for the NCHSTA 4-A women's tennis poll this fall.
 

*Rohan Sachdev of Raleigh Enloe High School was named to the 2018 Raleigh News and Observer All-Metro Men's Tennis Team.
 

*Wayne Holloman has resigned as the women's and men's tennis coach at Rocky Mount Senior High School. 
 

*Marvin Ridge High School head coach Julie van Olden will serve as one of the voters for the NCHSTA 3-A women's tennis poll this fall.
 

*Bishop McGuinness High School head coach Catherine Lassiter will serve as one of the voters for the NCHSTA 1-A women's tennis poll this fall.
 

*East Carteret High School head coach Nick Theuner will serve as one of the voters for the NCHSTA 1-A women's tennis poll this fall.
 

*Amy Rhoads is starting her fourth season as the women's tennis coach at Central Cabarrus High School.   Last year's squad posted an 8-4 overall record.
 

*Charlie Lawrence is the new women's and men's tennis coach at Rocky Mount Senior High School. 
 

*Kannapolis A.L. Brown senior Jackson Brim graduated as a member of the school's National Honor Society.
 

*Hannah Watlington was the Valedictorian for the Bartlett-Yancey High School Class of 2018.
 

*Clayton High School senior Dillon Hyde won the Sportmanship Award for the 2018 NCHSAA 3-A state championship match on Saturday, May 19 at the Piedmont Indoor Tennis Center in Greensboro.
