Broughton Prevails 5-4 in Battle of 4-A Powers
04/23/2010 08:24Raleigh Broughton, ranked number three in the state and coached by Bill White, downed top-ranked Raleigh Millbrook, coached by Chris Grimes, by a score of 5-4 on Thursday, April 22nd. The Capitals moved into a tie for first place in the Capital Area Seven Conference with the win, avenging an earlier loss. Both teams finished league play with 11-1 records. They will meet on Thursday, April 29th at Raleigh Enloe High School at 4:00 p.m. to decide the league's number one playoff berth. Raleigh Broughton is now 18-1 overall.
