Cougars Roll in Opening Round

Charlotte Catholic, ranked number two in the state, advanced to the second round of the 3-A dual team state playoffs with an 8-0 win over visiting North Iredell on Tuesday, May 4th.  Number three doubles was not completed by coaches agreement.  Coach Ken Hazen's Cougars improved to 10-3 with the win while North Iredell finished the season at 8-6.
