Grimsley Downs Page in Battle for Greensboro Supremacy

 Greensboro Grimsley, ranked number nine in the state and coached by Mark Griffin, downed Greensboro Page 6-3 in a battle of two of the state's perennial 4-A powerhouses on Tuesday, April 7th.    The Whirlies wrapped up the decision in singles, sparked by Will Albright's 10-1 win at number one.   Matt Painley posted the only win of the day for Coach Bruce Lanier's Page Pirates at number two singles.   The Whirlies improved to 7-1 in the Metro Conference and 7-2 overall while the Pirates dropped to 4-3 in the conference and overall.
