Maiden Tops South Iredell

Maiden High School, ranked number six in the state in 2-A and coached by Jon Huffman, rolled to an 8-1 win over South Iredell, coached by Jim McCoy, in a Catawba Valley Athletic Conference men's tennis match on Wednesday, March 31st.   David Lutz recorded one of Maiden's four 6-0, 6-0 wins in singles.   Max Rogers and Ty Conley posted the only win of the day for South Iredell at number two doubles.   Maiden improved to 9-2 in the league and 11-3 overall with the victory.
