Overhills Nips Western Harnett 5-4

Overhills High School downed Western Harnett 5-4 in a Cape Fear Valley Conference men's tennis match on Tuesday, March 22nd.    Overhills, coached by Alice O'Kelley, improved to 2-5 with the victory.  The winning Jaguars prevailed thanks to a 9-8 win at number three doubles by Israel Hernandez and Ian Weaver.  Western Harnett, coached by Mary Goodnight and Sarah Ledbetter, got singles wins from Mahaffey, Ashcroft, and Harrison.
