Rampants Triumph in Pitt County Battle
04/17/2010 16:21Greenville J.H. Rose, coached by Michael Walter, knocked off D.H. Conley, coached by Josh Lilley, by a score of 6-3 in a battle of two of the top teams in Pitt County in a non-conference men's tennis match on Monday, April 12th. Freshman Jordan Frazier teamed up with Robert Davis for a win at number one to spark a Rose sweep in doubles. Matt Edwards and Brett Bowman each pulled off third set tiebreak decisions to help the Vikings knot the score at 3-3 in singles. J.H. Rose, a member of the 4-A Mideastern Conference, improved to 9-1 overall with the win while 3-A Conley dropped to 9-2.
