Demons Win Opener at All-American Invitational

Winston-Salem R.J. Reynolds advanced to the quarterfinals of the All-American High School Invitational in Newport Beach, California on Friday, March 19th with a win over Boise High of Idaho.   The two teams ended the match tied at 4-4 in the tournament format which uses five singles and three doubles matches, but the victory went to the Demons because the number of total games won is used as the tiebreak.   R.J. Reynolds, ranked number two in the state in 4-A, will play Ballermine Prep of California in the quarterfinals at 6:00 p.m.   The Demons are coached by Brad Fisher.
