Evans Records 71st Win for Vikings

Union Pines rolled to an 8-1 victory over Gray's Creek in a Cape Fear Valley Conference match on Wednesday, March 31st.   Nolan Evans became the 47th player in Union Pines history to reach 70 career wins.  His wins in singles and doubles improved his career mark to 71-10.   The Vikings, coached by John Frye, improved to 8-0 in the conference and 11-1 overall with the win.   Jared Kiser and Brad Moore won at number three doubles for Gray's Creek, coached by Samuel Bullard.   Union Pines will be back in action on Monday, April 12th at home against Western Harnett after spring break.
