Myers Park Wins Battle for Supremacy of State's Largest City
03/15/2010 20:36Charlotte Myers Park, ranked number four in the state in 4-A and coached by Ed Flynn, downed the state's top-ranked 3-A squad Charlotte Catholic, coached by Ken Hazen, by a score of 6-3 on Monday, March 15th in the Queen City. Myers Park improved to 3-0 with the win while the Cougars dropped to 1-1. Reid Dillon allowed Myers Park to clinch the win in singles with a third set tiebreak win at number four. Kyle Johnson's victory at number one was the only singles win for the Cougars.
