Top Ranked Crusaders Improve to 11-2

Cardinal Gibbons continued the state's toughest non-conference schedule with a 7-2 victory over Cary Academy on Wednesday, March 31st.  The Crusaders, ranked number one in the state in 3-A and coached by Andrew Tuttle, improved to 11-2 with the victory.   Cardinal Gibbons will be on spring break from April 1-11.   Cary Academy dropped to 7-2 overall with the loss.   Chris Geaslen rallied for a third set tiebreak win at number one singles after dropping a second set tiebreak.   Harrison Atkinson posted the only singles win of the day for Cary Academy.
