2011 Regional Photos


Asheville High School's Tito Poplawski returns a forehand in the opening round of the 3-A Western Regional Tournament at Patton High School.  Poplawski teamed with Morris Porter to win the regional doubles title.

Raleigh Broughton's Steed Johnson (left) and Patrick Longest (right) were named to the 2011 Team Connection Mideastern All-Region team.
 


Chris Geaslen and Killian Steer of Cardinal Gibbons High School won the Mideastern 3-A Regional Tournament doubles championship on Saturday, May 7th.
 


Wilmington New Hanover's Sammy Kohl, Woravin Kumthonkittikul, and Alex Gaines won regional titles on Saturday, May 7th at Fayetteville Terry Sanford High School.

Garner High School qualified all six of its starters for the Mid-Eastern 4A Regional Tournament. Pictured from left to right are Kevin Fowler, Dominic Chavez, Tyler Hunter, Shane Whittington, Clifford Smith, Alex Bowling, and Coach Joe Walls.


West Johnston's Hunter Stephens and Dakota Morgan (pictured here with head coach Will Herring) won the Greater Neuse River Conference doubles championship.


Junior Matt Daly of Cardinal Gibbons High School won the Mideastern 3-A Regional singles championship on Saturday, May 10th in Burlington.   This was Daly's third consecutive regional title.


Chaney Barnes of Kings Mountain High School won the Western 3-A Regional Tournament singles championship on Saturday, May 7th in Morganton.  Here Barnes returns a forehand in his Friday match against Patton High School.


Robbie Mudge of Winston-Salem R.J. Reynolds (right) defeated Landon Kinsey of Greensboro Page (left) in the singles championship match at the Midwestern 4-A Regional Tournament on Saturday, May 7th.
