Conference Tournament Photos 2011


Five members of the Newton-Conover squad qualified for the 2-A State Tournament at the Western Regional on Friday, May 6th.   The qualifiers are from left to right on the first row John Tate, John Reid, and Austin Adams, and from left to right on the second row Ryan Lampe and Hang Lak Choi.   The Red Devils are currently ranked number one in the state in 2-A.



Jon Wright of Monroe Central Academy won the Rocky River 1-A Conference Tournament singles championship.


Harnett Central's Gregg Rousseau, pictured here with head coach Marshall Wortham, won the 2011 Greater Neuse River Conference Tournament singles championship on Saturday, April 30th.


Topsail High School's Jordan Bailey won his second consecutive East Central Conference singles championship on Wednesday, April 20th at the league's annual tournament at Swansboro High School.  Bailey is pictured here with Topsail High School coach Troy McGee.


These players reached the finals of the Northwest Conference Men's Tennis Tournament and qualified for the regionals.    The singles qualifiers were from left to right kneeling Stephan Gettys of Fred T. Foard, Brad Bowman of Hickory, Valentin Waltenberger of Hickory, and Paul Hogan of Hibriten.  The doubles qualifiers were from left to right standing Hunter Drum and Tyler Costner of Fred T. Foard, Joseph Espiritu and Hunter Coffey of Hickory, Alex Arditti and Daniel May of Hickory, and Clay Hogan and Ben Robson of Hibriten.
