Robbie Mudge of R.J. Reynolds hits a forehand in the set tiebreak vs. Shaun Chaudhuri of Monte Vista (CA) at the All-American High School Tennis Championships in Newport Beach, CA.  Mudge was named to the All-Tournament team with teammate Dillon Segur.  Mudge has signed to play at North Carolina State while Chaudhuri is a Harvard signee.

 Dillon Segur of R.J. Reynolds hits a backhand at the All-American High School National Tennis Championships in Newport Beach, CA.  The tournament was played at the Palisades Tennis Club, host site of the 1997 Davis Cup.  Segur and teammate Robbie Mudge were named to the All-Tournament Team.

Maiden senior Landon Cansler collected his 100th career victory (singles and doubles) in a win over Morganton Freedom on Thursday, April 14th.  Cansler is the first Maiden Tennis player under Coach Jon Huffman to reach 100 wins.

Draughn High School junior Keith Loomis returns a backhand at the Catawba Valley Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Tournament at Maiden High School on Tuesday, April 19th.    Loomis and partner Austin Helms qualified for the West Regional in doubles.
