*NCHSTCA president Donald Clark was a guest on the Florida High School Tennis Coaches Association radio show on Thursday, December 17th.
 

*Jen Furr is the new women's tennis coach at Raleigh Charter School.
 

*Jared Brown will be the new men's tennis coach at Northside High School this spring.
 

*Ken Reynolds has resigned as the men's tennis coach at Garner Magnet School.
 

*Former Cape Fear High School men's tennis coach Keith Blackwell is now the tennis coach at Fayetteville State University.
 

*Gary Scearce will be taking over the Cape Fear High School men's tennis program this spring.
 

*Thomas Peeler is the new men's and women's tennis coach at Ledford High School.
 

*The North Carolina High School Tennis Coaches Association Board of Directors will hold its annual winter meeting on Saturday, January 23rd at 7:45 a.m. at the Carolina Hotel in Pinehurst.

*Joseph Walls will be returning to coach the Garner Magnet School men's tennis team this spring.
 

*Jo Cabana, the school's women's tennis coach, will be taking over the Charlotte Catholic High School men's tennis program this spring following the retirement of Ken Hazen.
 

*James Realon is the new men's and women's tennis coach at Hopewell High School.
 

*Les Myers Park in Concord will be hosting a clinic for high school coaches on Saturday, February 13th from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. featuring Larry Karageanese, who maintains a web site offering tips for high school coaches.   The cost is just $10.   For more information, contact Chad Oxendine, USPTA, 704-806-0909, chad@amptennis.com.
 

*Robert Robinson has resigned as the men's tennis coach at Draughn High School.
 

*Mckenzie Mixon, a senior at Riverside-Martin High School, has been accepted to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the Honors College at East Carolina University.
 

*Caitlin Deans, a senior at North Lenoir High School, has been accepted to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
 

*Debbie Adams has retired as the women's tennis coach at South Brunswick High School.   She served as an assistant for new head coach Christian Minnick this past fall to help with the transition.
 

*Mitch Pergerson has resigned as the men's tennis coach at Roxboro Person High School.
 

*Philip Enser will be the new men's tennis coach at Roxboro Person High School this spring.
 

*Research Triangle High School will be fielding a men's tennis team for the first time this spring.
 

*Joseph Walls is starting his 16th season as the men's tennis coach at Garner Magnet School this fall.  Coach Walls has an overall record of 154-111 in 15 years.
 

*Bobby Taylor has resigned as the men's tennis coach at Greene Central High School.  Taylor compiled a 64-41 record in his six seasons at the school and won five conference championships.
 

*Kim Schuessler is beginning her third season as the men's tennis coach at Southeast Halifax High School this spring.

*Greene Central High School women's tennis coach Tim Medlin is taking over the men's program at the school.
