Tennis Tidbits July 2020

*Phil Woolard has resigned as the men's and women's tennis coach at Riverside-Martin High School.

*Tony White has resigned as the men's and women's tennis coach at Mooresville High School.
 

*Johnny Seawell has resigned as the men's tennis coach at Jordan-Matthews High School.
 

*Garcian D'Cruz is the new men's and women's tennis coach at Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy.
 

*Serena Smith has resigned as the women's tennis coach at Avery County High School.
 

*Missy Carlson is the new women's tennis coach at Mooresville High School.
 

*Sam Spencer is the new men's tennis coach at Jordan-Matthews High School.
 

*High school tennis coaches will be able to access the virtual clinic at https://nchsaa.org on Monday, July 27th to fulfill the coaching requirement for the 2020-21 school year. The annual coaching clinic at UNC-Greensboro will not be held this year.
 

*Eli Markland is the new women's tennis coach at Avery County High School.
 

*The NCHSAA announced on Wednesday that the women's tennis season will be moved to the spring. Play will begin on April 12 and conclude on June 11. Teams will be allowed to play 14 matches (only two per week).
